Massive amounts of chemicals, banned in food production, are used in cotton farming. Cotton is one of the most genetically modified crops, mainly to tolerate above-average doses of chemicals. Approximately half a kilo of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers is used for producing one T-shirt and one pair of jeans. In organic cotton farming and production, the use of toxic chemicals, which cause poisonings in agricultural workers and damage the environment, as well as genetically modified organisms, is prohibited. Certified farms aim to build a biologically diverse agricultural system and maintain soil fertility naturally. Unlike conventionally grown cotton, organic cotton does not cause allergic reactions. Therefore, it is suitable for children, allergy sufferers, eczema patients, and people with sensitive skin. ECO-FRIENDLY WASHING INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORGANIC COTTON: If a stain appears on organic cotton, treat it before washing with GALL SOAP or OLIVE SOAP WITH LEMON EXTRACT. Cotton materials appreciate washing with SOAP NUTS– they remain soft and breathable. A LIQUID DETERGENT FROM SOAP NUTS can also be used for washing. Soap sludge is recommended only in case of soft water. We recommend washing at 40 ºC. Shrinkage up to 15%. It returns to its original size with use. Do not use fabric softener on natural materials – it deposits on fibers and reduces absorbency. For the final rinse, use a RINSING AGENT, which flushes out residues of detergent and keeps the fabric soft and breathable (not necessary if washing with soap nuts). Weight: 100 g/m2.
