Practical shoulder bag made of dense cotton mesh. Its shape is inspired by the classic string bag, but unlike it, it has much denser mesh, making it suitable not only for shopping but also for everyday use. Additionally, it features the color of unbleached cotton, dimensions of 40 x 40 cm, weighs 175 g, and can carry up to 15 kg. WHY ORGANIC COTTON? Conventional cotton farming and the production of cotton garments have a negative impact on the environment and the farmers and workers who rely on the textile industry for their livelihood. Cotton fields occupy less than 3% of the world's cultivated land but consume about 25% of all insecticides and 10% of all herbicides. Cotton farming heavily uses chemicals that are banned in food production. Cotton is one of the most genetically modified plants, mainly to withstand above-average doses of chemicals. Producing a single t-shirt and a pair of jeans consumes around half a kilo of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. In organic cotton farming and production, the use of toxic chemicals that poison agricultural workers and harm the environment, as well as genetically modified organisms, is prohibited. Certified farms aim to establish biologically diverse agricultural systems and maintain soil fertility naturally. Unlike conventionally grown cotton, organic cotton does not cause allergic reactions, making it suitable for children, allergy sufferers, eczema patients, and individuals with sensitive skin. CERTIFICATION Our organic cotton products meet the high standards of the international organization GOTS. Organic cotton cultivation is monitored and controlled from the seed to the final processing of the fabric, including sewing. Inspectors also oversee the social conditions of the workers (video on organic cotton cultivation and production). INSTRUCTIONS FOR ECOCLEANING ORGANIC COTTON: If there is a stain on organic cotton, treat it with gall soap or olive soap with lemon extract before washing. Cotton materials appreciate washing with soap nuts—they remain soft and breathable. You can also use soap nut detergent gel for washing. Soap slime is recommended only in the case of soft water. We recommend washing at 60 ºC. We strictly avoid fabric softeners on natural materials—they settle on the fibers and reduce their absorbency. For the final rinse bath, we use a rinsing agent that washes out detergent residues from the material, keeping the laundry soft and breathable (not necessary if washing with soap nuts).
