Its design is inspired by the classic mesh bag, but unlike it, it has much denser holes, making it suitable not only for shopping but also for everyday use. Additionally, it features an elegant black color, dimensions of 40 x 40 cm, weighs 175 g, and can carry up to 15 kg. WHY ORGANIC COTTON? Conventional cotton farming and cotton garment manufacturing have negative impacts on the environment as well as farmers and workers who are sustained by the textile industry. Cotton fields occupy just under 3% of the world's cultivated land but use about 25% of all insecticides and 10% of all herbicides. Cotton farming heavily relies on chemical substances that are banned in food production. Cotton is one of the most genetically modified plants, mainly to withstand above-average doses of chemicals. The production of one shirt and one pair of jeans consumes about half a kilo of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. The cultivation and production of organic cotton prohibits the use of toxic chemicals that cause poisoning among farm workers and harm the environment, as well as genetically modified organisms. Certified farms strive to create a biologically diverse agricultural system and maintain soil fertility naturally. Unlike conventionally grown cotton, organic cotton does not cause allergic reactions. It is therefore suitable for children, allergy sufferers, people with eczema, and those with sensitive skin. CERTIFICATION Our organic cotton products meet the high standards of the international GOTS organization. The cultivation of organic cotton is monitored and controlled from seed to final fabric processing, including sewing. ECO-WASHING INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORGANIC COTTON: If a stain appears on organic cotton, treat it before washing with GALL SOAP or OLIVE SOAP WITH LEMON EXTRACT. Cotton materials appreciate washing with SOAP NUTS – they remain soft and breathable. We can also use LAUNDRY GEL FROM SOAP NUTS for washing. Soap sludge is recommended only if the water is soft. We recommend washing at 40 ºC. Shrinkage up to 15%. With use, it returns to its original size. We do not use fabric softener on natural materials – it deposits on fibers and reduces their absorbency. For the final rinsing bath, use a FABRIC RINSE AID, which rinses out detergent residues and keeps the fabric soft and breathable (not necessary if washing with soap nuts).
