A bag made from thin canvas of organic cotton is particularly suitable for a whole loaf of bread or multiple pieces of bakery products. It replaces all plastic bags, in which bakery products tend to mold. Dimensions are 40 x 30 cm. Approved by the National Institute of Public Health for use with food. WHY ORGANIC COTTON? Conventional cotton farming and cotton garment production have negative effects on the environment as well as on the farmers and workers that the textile industry supports. Cotton fields occupy less than 3% of the world's cultivated land but consume approximately 25% of all insecticides and 10% of all herbicides. A massive amount of chemical substances, which are banned in food production, is used in cotton farming. Cotton is one of the most genetically modified plants, mainly to withstand above-average doses of chemicals. About half a kilo of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers is used to produce one t-shirt and one pair of jeans. In organic cotton cultivation and production, the use of toxic chemicals that cause poisoning in agricultural workers and damage the environment is prohibited, as are genetically modified organisms. Certified farms strive to build a biologically diverse agricultural system and maintain soil fertility in a natural way. Unlike conventionally grown cotton, organic cotton does not cause allergic reactions and is therefore suitable for children, allergy sufferers, eczema sufferers, and individuals with sensitive skin. Made in India. ECO-WASHING GUIDE FOR ORGANIC COTTON: If a stain appears on the organic cotton, treat it with GALL SOAP or OLIVE SOAP WITH LEMON EXTRACT before washing. Cotton materials benefit from washing with SOAP NUTS, staying soft and breathable. We can also use SOAP NUT LIQUID DETERGENT for washing. We recommend using soap slime only for soft water. Wash at 40 ºC. Shrinkage up to 5%. Do not use fabric softener on natural materials as it settles on fibers and reduces their absorbency. For the final rinse bath, use a LAUNDRY RINSE, which rinses residual detergent from the material, keeping the laundry soft and breathable (not necessary if using soap nuts). Weight: 75 g/m2.
